Birthdays and Milestones

Charlie's birthday was yesterday as was our daughter's six month milestone. How does time go so incredibly fast?!? I think Charlie enjoyed the day, regardless of his feelings toward being in the limelight and I know we appreciated all who thought of him. We love you guys! :)

On the Toni front - She is learning to express herself by letting us know when she is displeased (not necessarily upset) by grunting loudly. This happens a lot! She's also learning to wave to people, and we're still teaching her signs for simple things. Everyday she listens to me play the piano and when I finish practicing she plays for a while too :) Having babies is too much fun!

Work is coming along. I think we're getting places and hoping to see some cash flow(keeping fingers crossed). We have an upcoming webinar that we're very excited about! I love what we do!

On another note, we've started a Sunday thoughts blog as a way to boost and supplement our spirituality. For those interested (not offended if you aren't) hislovinghands.blogspot.com

Coming up: Rape Crisis Team Training for me, crawling for Toni :), and a good nights sleep for Charlie...some day!

Live, Love, Laugh

I have a new goal: I want to live my life the right way. Easy enough right? :) I don't want to sweat the small stuff. How much of my limited energy is spent everyday worrying myself in circles? Milk spills, food burns, beds go unmade. All I can do is my best every single day and laugh off the stuff that doesn't go exactly perfect. I'll let you know how the quest goes!

Toni keeps getting stronger. Today she sat all by herself for extended periods of time. I sit here with her in my arms, tears still clinging to her eyelashes, and yet, this darling baby brings me so much joy. She is helping me realize my full potential not only as a mother, but as a daughter of God. I am so grateful!

Great Weekend

Oh how we love visiting our In-Laws and the beauty that is Cache Valley! This weekend was incredible and we were super blessed since my Grandma and Grandpa Hanson visited with us. I know that just about everyone says this but I truly do have the bestest family! I could not have asked for any better.

Toni just keeps growing and growing. I am loving being her Mommy but I do wish that I could get time to slow down a little! Before I know it she'll be walking, talking, and probably driving me crazy :) It's all very worth it!

Charlie has started school - 16 credits plus three jobs so we very rarely see him. We're grateful for all that he does and love the moments we spend together. He's growing and learning by leaps and bounds and I'm so proud of all that he is accomplishing.

On the agenda: Charlie's birthday and fajitas for dinner (that's about all my brain can handle at the moment!)

Always!
